LEE RIZZUTO Jr. TRINACRIA D'ORO 2008

Lodi, NJ – The Federazione Siciliana del New Jersey, is pleased to announce its Tenth Annual Dinner Dance, this year honoring Lee Rizzuto Jr., a remarkable entepreneur leading CONAIR. The event will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at The Venetian, 546 River Drive, Garfield (NJ). Cocktail begins at 4:00 P.M., followed by dinner and dancing featuring entertainment by 7.4.7’s.      Special guest, Italian tenor Giuseppe Ranzani.

Lee Rizzuto, Senior Vice President of Conair Corporation, Global Professional Business Units, thinks outside the box. Holder of numerous patents, under his leadership the company has launched over 1,000 new products, many exceeding several million units. Since accepting his current position, he has increased revenues by 500%. Lee was a member of the Board of Directors of the American Beauty Association (PBA) and in 2006 appointed to the Vice Chair position of the Professional Beauty Association. In the same year he was appointed President of the PBA Manufactures Council and, in 2007, Chairman of the PBA.  In addition, he served as Senior Board Director of NABE (North American Beauty Events), Member  Director of Boys Town of Italy, Chairman of CIAO (Council of Italian-American Organizations),  active member of The Columbus Citizens Foundation and UNICO, Board Member of The Italian Center of Stamford, Chairman of the Italian Center Culture Council, Board Member of Comitato Tricolore and Recipient of the Italian Ministry - Mirko Tremaglia Award in 2002.

He plays an active and very personal role in supporting numerous community charities; within days of 9/11, he founded the World Trade Center Charity Fund. Lee, his wife and three children reside in Stamford, CT.
